The best digital marketer eh? What if I told you the rules are simple and anyone can do it. So, why is not everyone the best? Because they stop learning and think that they know enough.

I may not be the best person to write these steps but I have taken steps time after time and considering that I’ll let you know what has helped me until now:-

Never stop learning

The field is vast and opportunities are endless. But to take advantage of it you also have to stay up to date with the current trends. Learn from sources you find comfortable – blogs, podcasts etc.

Learn from people who have already done it

If you have been learning with digital marketing you already know about Neil Patel, Gary Vaynerchuk, Hubspot blogs etc. and I don’t need to tell you how good they are so why not learn from them? The blogs, podcasts and other resources by them.

 Connect with like-minded people

Remember this – your network is your net worth. I know it’s Cliché but a point that can’t be ignored. Learn from people who are in your niche. They can offer you insights and knowledge that could be new to you. Be sure to help others too.

Find an internship

Learning is great but only when it is applied to get an internship with any company. Personally, I prefer a startup as there you can learn a variety of jobs which will help you gain various skills. If not an internship tries ways you can apply your knowledge.

In conclusion, keep learning new things and be sure to apply them. Doing this over time you will become a successful digital marketer.
